Penang Trip 2014 3D2N (Part 1)

Yoyo!

Me and my family went to Penang last year right before the New Year! I would go to Penang every year at least once. But this time, I discovered some new places to share!

1. Where to go?

#Beach Street

If you happen to visit Penang on a Sunday, its quite nice to go to Beach Street on a Sunday Morning! There are some street performance there, some small little stalls, flash mobs! Very interesting, if you kids or you are going with friends.

Its something like Melaka Jonker Street but with less stalls and more performances..

Beach street will be temporary close from 7am to 1pm (ONLY SUNDAY) for the performances and little events.

Some little stalls selling stuff.. from clothes.. to snacks.. to handmade craft items..

Some street show

Sorry for the blur picture!

You can even rent unicycle, bicycle, and tricycle.

WOW! A life size snack and ladders game! Awesome :p

Something that I found interesting haha!

OMFG! LENGZAI! Dont miss it !!!!!!! =DDDDD

FREE!!

One uncle giving away this cute handmade windmill by using recycle stuff.
You will also see alot of murals along the way.. (but i didnt get any pictures of it TT) it was so crowded and sunny. So .. yeah.. hahahaha

But I took a picture of this!

YES!! MY SURNAME HAHAHAHA

#2 ChinaHouse @ Beach Street

Just discovered this place!!! And Im loving it so so so much!!!! HAHAHAHAH

I just had the BEST TIRAMISU here!!!!

They have all the vintage elements in the shop!!

Really make it looks like ChinaHouse. But not those typical one that are full with red colour stuff XD

Bangkok Day 4 ! (Last) Dry

HOLLLAAAA ! ! ! !
Hurray another travel series post =P

I better finish blogging about Bangkok fast before I go for the next vacation hahah!

Mini itinerary for Day 4:

- Famous WanTanMee @ Pratunam Soi 19
- Grand Palace
- Platinum Mall (again) hahaha
- Airport T.T

Hotel lighting so nice! I love! =p

Starting my day with awesome breakfast in the Hotel ^^

Thats really yummy and healthy =DD

DAYUMMMM ~

After that, our taxi driver (tour package that we got from the hotel counter) came to fetch us at our hotel. We asked him to bring us to the famous WanTanMee shop at Pratunam Soi 19.

In fact, its really near from our hotel.. probably like walking distance. But if you go by car, its jam everywhere!! The WanTanMee shop is really near to Pratunam Market. Make sure to drop by to have some noodles in between your shopping breaks hahahha!

This is how it looks like from outside!
Hmmm... its great that we didnt need to queue for seats in the shop. We sat down and ordered 3 bowls of noodles. Two dry and 1 soup. For water, we ordered Chrysanthemum tea ( I told the guy 'Yellow Water' which he understands me HHAHAHAH)

Yes, thats the yellow water XD
Oh ya, the waiter there can even speak chinese. THATS SO AWESOME hahahahah!!!

Dry version
Soup version
The sibeh swag cook ! =D ahahaha looks at the sign behind him
(if you can understand chinese AHHAHA)

I would give this shop a 4/5 rating.
The wantanmee is slurrrppppppp!! Dayum nice =D Its not like the usual wan tan mee that we have in Malaysia. In Malaysia, its always those with black sauce right. That one has no black sauce. But its still nice. Coz its has the crispy pork lard (猪油渣)..

I think its RM5 per bowl of noodles. Im not sure tho because the waiter just sums up the bill, didnt tell us how much it costs per bowl. I think its a litttlllleee bit over priced. Coz that noodles is actually quite small bowl. Can finish is 5 minutes HAHAAHHA They have big one and small one btw.. We ordered the small one to try only

Rmb that this shop open at 9am and close at 4pm. But some of the bloggers said that they might be finish selling the noodles before 4pm! So go early to avoid disappointment HAHA

After that, we got into the taxi and head to Ancient City. Its about 1hour 30mins away from the town area. Which means quite far.. oops!
Boring me in the taxi xP

U can either rent a bicycle to go in .... or rent golf cart to go in. I forgot how much was it. Proabably like 300 baht for an hour. And need to buy admission ticket too.

We decided to rent a goft cart before its quite hot there. We wanna hide from the sun! hahahah

Yes, you can drive yourself wherever u wish to go.

Thats our taxi driver in blue! My dad asked him to tag along so that he is not alone outside

Look how beautiful is this !!!! Totally matches with the blue sky hehehe

US !!!!!!

We came out after exploring the place ^.^

If you are someone who can appreciate the view there, its a must go visit this place! But if you are like me, hahaahha.. I better spend the time go for more shopping (Girls, you know...)

We left the place and head back to Bangkok City after that. YES, another round of shopping at Platinum Mall. Its quite near to our hotel so we decided to go there. We need to catch our return flight in the evening.

Sooo.. yeah! Doing some last minute shopping kekekeke

Random Bangkok traffic picture

ME ! ^.^ and my full bag of stuff

Then, we go back to our hotel and then airport! T.T

Wish I had more days spend there T____________________________T

Meal in airport!

Doesnt taste really good... but it looks good lol
So.... yeah!

Ending this post here ^^ Goona blog about my review on our hotel stay @ Centara Watergate Pavillion Hotel soon.. and also a Bangkok Haul ! Check that out soon ~~~

Yo Yo Yo! Finally its my sembreak~ Hurray! Just finish my exam yesterday =D

Sembreak time = more blogpost time! YAY! hahaha

Let me continue my Bangkok trip yeah (Y)

Part 2 mini itinerary :

- Siam Square 1
- Hello Kitty House
- Siam Square Night Market
- Siam Paragon
- SomBoon Seafood

We asked the taxi driver to stop us at Siam Square 1 because we wanna go to the Hello Kitty House first yuuhuuu ^^ The hello kitty house is super big, got 3 floors! hahaha

Ground floor is to buy some hello kitty souveniers, second and third floor is to order food and EAT and of course take tons of photos hahaha!

Tip: If the second floor main entrance is very crowded, or need to queue up very long, u can actually go in by the group floor kekekek. Then walk up stairs, u will straight away go into the place where u can order and eat. P/s: But........Its quite unfair la for those who queue up very long at outside hahhaha

When I go inside, every table is occupied omg! Full of hello kitty fans inside haha! Who can resist ha??? Everything is sooooooooooooooooooo kyutttttttttttttt !!!!!!

I ordered a hot chocolate and a chocolate cake! Didnt except the cake to be so so so freaking good. ohmygod, the chocolate is so creamy and rich. T___T i miss it so much

Hot Chocolate with Kitty face!!! Are you sure u wanna drink it!!! ARE YOU SURE HAHAHHA

LOL ! I dont know why I look so nervous >.<

This was the chocolate cake I was talking about HAHAHAH.. Although compared to other cake, it dont look so fancy, but trust me its soooooo good XD

Out total bill came up to around RM40. 2 drinks and 1 cake!

And we took like tons of photo there, HAHAHAHHA

Selfie selfie all the way ~~~~

Nothing much, just chilling with my friend there with her big head .. HAHA

#Please please excuse my slipper!! T_T

U know.. u better be in the most comfortable shoe u had when you are going shopping in Bangkok! Hahahah walk walk walk all day =D

After a round of kitty cuteness overload, we walk around the malls...

Siam Paragon, Siam Square, etc ^^ All this mall stuff are more like designer brands.. more expensive stuff.. So yeah, if u wanna look for those stuff, u can go there, especially Siam Paragon!

We had saw alot about SomBoon Seafood on the Internet, so we decided to try it out! Its known for its delicious Curry Crab !!! (SomBoon Seafood is in Siam Square 1, 4th floor)

Very modern right the interior design hahaha

CURRY CRAB !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ITS FREAKING GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The gravy was like OMG. I can eat all my white rice with only the gravy HAHAHAHAH

Very buay paiseh doing this in the restaurant LOL

*Different top because I changed after that hehehe

Tian Ji (if you know chinese) .. I think English is Frog leg? or Frog? not sure duh

I didnt eat this! My parents did haha They say it was just ok ok only.

Kangkung Belacan !!!

Very very yummy =D

Lime sour Steam Fish

Quite nice too ^^

Overall, it was a very satisfying meal!! Love to go back if I visit Bangkok again kekeke ^^

After dinner, we actually planned to go back to Hotel, but when I go out of Siam Square1, I found a night market in front of the Mall !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crazy shopping mood on !!!!!!!!!!!!

As you can see, the night market is located under the BTS station. Ya, so i think its quite easy to find ^^ hehe

You know what, I totally gone crazy here. Everything is damn damn nice D= wish that I could grab everything!!!!!!! hahaha From pastel style, to rock style, to huge variety of shoes, to whatever shit.

My haul can be found at the end of this post. Check it out ! hahaha
